Kutie Kids Preschool Summer Carnival Students Explore Odisha State Tribal Museum on National Museum Day

Bhubaneswar : In a vibrant celebration of National Museum Day, the Odisha State Tribal Museum welcomed young visitors from Kutie Kids Preschool, IRC Village, as part of their educational field trip. Around 60 participants, including children, teachers, and staff, arrived at the museum premises at 10:00 AM this morning for a special guided tour.

The museum authorities had made elaborate arrangements to ensure a fun-filled and informative experience for the little learners. The visit aimed to introduce the children to Odisha’s rich tribal heritage through interactive storytelling and hands-on exhibits.

As the children moved from one exhibit to another, they eagerly listened to the guides explaining the unique customs, attire, tools, and lifestyles of the tribal communities of the state. The curious minds actively participated, raising a multitude of questions to understand and appreciate the cultural heritage better. The level of inquisitiveness displayed by the children was truly heartwarming and a promising reflection of our future generations’ growing interest in history and culture.

“It was wonderful to see the little ones so engaged and excited. Their enthusiasm for learning is inspiring,” said one of the museum facilitators.

The children also enjoyed refreshments arranged by the museum, taking a brief break before concluding the visit at around 12:30 PM. The field trip was not just an educational outing but also an opportunity to instill a sense of pride in India’s diverse cultural roots.

The event marked a meaningful way to celebrate National Museum Day — by nurturing young minds and fostering curiosity about the past.
